How to teach children to love reading

0
Any man can flourish hundreds of unexpected talents and abilities, if he just provide for this possibility.
D.Lessing

Completely agree with this wise saying. How can we as adults want our children to disclose all of their talents and abilities in the process of learning.
When our child is school starts, he enjoyed her visits, and after school are the strength and desire to dance and music, drawing and more. And we, the adults, just happy.

So, coming to the end of training on the first stage of education. What will happen with our child in middle school? Lots of new items, and accordingly - increased workload. A large number of teachers, each with their needs and teaching style, which means - increased psychological stress. Development of skills and talents outside of training activities to a minimum. Parents, often relying on the independence and apparent maturity of children, do not always think about, how many problems facing our children. What to do? How to find a way out?
Look at it from one side only. According to statistics, a list of the best students of any class includes those children who are well-read, and, therefore, they need to prepare homework much less time. It is not reading the children is the main problem of education.

Children usually do not like to read. For them - a laborious process, consuming a lot of time. Why? The reason - the only in-depth learning process of reading. In fact, there are several ways to read, and their use depends on the purpose of reading (scanning, optional).

Let's deal with difficulties in reading, here are their main reasons:

   1. Mastering the technique of reading is parallel with the development of memory. The lack of development of memory can cause difficulties in perception, memory, storage and playback of reading.
   2. Shortcomings in the development of logical memory means that the child learns information mechanically, without using logic, semantic or associative memory techniques.
   3. Shortcomings in the development of attention. Warning - the most important quality that characterizes the process of selecting the right information and discarding the excess. Hypoplasia concentrations, selective or arbitrary attention lead to malfunction of any kind of information.
   4. Shortcomings in the development of speech and intellectual sphere of the child. The possibility of intelligence is inextricably linked with the possibilities of language.

All these drawbacks can be eliminated, and then our children more time and effort will be the development of other skills.

There are schools that promote the introduction of life L.L.Vasilevoy unique methods for rapid reading, thinking and enhancing the development of memory.

On the example of one of these schools, we consider the possibilities. We took a sample of schools in the city of Perm.
